On Ben. Grave's farm in first field on right hand side of Shepherdstown road and around a large poplar stump; the farm did belong to J. H. Grove; the graves have never been plowed over; are in good condition, some boards still remaining. A number of unknown are buried here
Barring a date of death, it is currently unknown if this soldier died during or as a result of the battles of South Mountain, Antietam or Monocacy.
