Hon. J. P. Buchanan, Representative from Texas, Washington, D. C., is interested in finding some comrades of Elisha T. Bennett, who served with Company G, 3rd Battalion of Georgia Infantry. He enlisted October 13, 1861, and was honorably discharged on July 4, 1862, on surgeon's certificate of disability. Surviving comrades are asked to certify to his service and thus help him to secure a pension.
