Bobbitt Stanfield

Advertisement From B. M. Bobbitt For Comrades Of His Grandfather, J. R. Stanfield.

B. M. Bobbitt, of Ada, Okla, would be glad to hear from some comrade of his grandfather, J. R. Stanfield, who served under Captain Eblin, Colonel Rucker, in Gen. Craft Vaughn's brigade. He was under General Morgan for a while and later was in Virginia under Generals Longstreet and Lee. He was wounded in the battle of Greenville, Va., and in the spring of 1865 was captured trying to make his way home. He was an eyewitness of General Morgan's death.
