John V. Browning, of Rockdale, Tex., is trying to get a pension and would like to get in communication with any old comrades who can testify to his service. He was wounded at the battle of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; served in Bragg's army. He also asks for information of Thomas V. Browning or any of his heirs.
