H. E. Patterson, of Temple, Tex., makes inquiry in behalf of G. M. Collier, formerly of Lawrence County, Tenn., who wishes to join the Sons of Confederate Veterans and needs to have the war record of his father, B. L. Collier, who, after joining the army, was rejected because of disability and hired a man by the name of Bell as a substitute. Any information concerning his record would be appreciated.
