Mrs. J. A. Girdner, 1310 Nashville Avenue, New Orleans, La., is trying to get a pension and wants to hear from some surviving comrade of her husband who can testify to his record. J. A. Girdner served under Gen. S. G. French. He went out with the Columbus Guards, of Columbus, Ga., his old home.
