Camp 48th Va. Regiment,
Messrs. Editors:-You are requested to announce Capt. T. M. Gobble, of the 48th Va. Regiment, as a candidate for the office of Sheriff of Washington county at the ensuing election. Capt. Gobble is a man well qualified for the place, and ought to be patronized by the voters of the county, having served near three years in defence of his country, and as he cannot visit the county hmself, it is hoped that he will be recollected on election day.
