The widow of J. N. Hall, who served in Company D, 23d Alabama Infantry, is in need and any information of his service that can be given by susrviving comrades will be appreciated. He was mustered into service at Bridgeport, Ala., April 9, 1862, by Colonel Beck, and his captain was J. S. Hester. Please address O. H. P. Wright, Box 574, Selma, Ala.
