The widow of Joseph R. Hogg, who enlisted at Houston, Tex., in April, 1861, seeks inforamtion of his service so she may get a pension. He served as first lieutenant of Captain Drake's company, Colonel Thomas's regiment, under General Magruder, which was stationed at Fort Point, Galveston, Tex., during the war.
