Mrs. J. L. Jones, of Mullens, S. C., wants to communicate with some surviving comrade of her father, Allen Jones, who can testify to his record as a Confederate soldier. He enlisted from Rocky Mount, N. C., in 1861, in Company K, 15th North Carolina Regiment, and served through the four years. He was wounded near Fredericksburg and was in the battle of Gettysburg.
