P. A. Blakey, of Mount Vernon, Tex., wishes to communicate with some surviving comrades who can testify to the war record of George McCown, of Captain Shaw's company, Perkin's Regiment of Cavalry. He enlisted at Williamsburg, Calloway County, Mo. He is now trying to establish his claim to a pension.
