Memoranda on arrest of Joshua McCumpsey, Virginia. July 18, 1862

Joshua McCumpsey.-This man went with Kurtz; was arrested with him on 18th July. Says he is a canal boatman carrying coal for the Borden Mining Company. Owes allegiance to United States. I think he ought to be held as a prisoner of war.
