Any surviving comrades of J. J. Miner, who enlisted in the 25th Alabama Regiment in the spring of 1861, and served under Capt. Wiley Pope, of Coumbiana, Ala., will confer a favor by communicating with him at Leeds, Ala., P. O. Box, 153. He was captured at Atlanta and sent North to prison. He was in the service some three years.
