Miss Mary Mitchell, librarian of the public library of Webb City, Mo., is interested in getting data on the Mitchell family, and would appreciate hearing from anyone who can give information on that line. Her revolutionary great-grandfather, James Mitchell, of North Carolina, died in Maury County, Tenn. She also mentions David Craig and Davy Crockett as connections of the family.
