The following members of the 43rd Battalion of Virginia Cavalry, Mosby's Rangers, have died within the past year: Boyd M. Smith, J. H. Judd, Lieut. James G. Wiltshire, Lieut. Charles E. Grogan, Dr. W. L. Dunn (Asst. Surgeon), Ludwell Lake, C. R. McIntosh, I. Williams Coon, Chilton Lunceford, the latter aged ninety-two years. These men were honored by all who knew them, and their memory will be cherished as long as virtue, patriotism, and gallantry inspire the heart and minds of those who live after them. (Channing M.
