Mrs. J. S. Murrow, the beloved wife of Rev. J. S. Murrow, State Chaplain, U. C. V. of Oklahoma, died in Atoka January 7, 1915, and was buried from the Baptist church if that city. She went to that section as a missionary to the Indians nearly forty years ago and was beloved by all who knew her. She was of Northern blood, but loved the South and its people.
