The loss of another member is reported by W. P. Brown, Adjutant of Marion Cogbill Camp, No. 1316, U. C. V., of Wynne, Ark., in the following: "Death has again invaded our Camp and taken Comrade A. I. Pulley, one of our most devoted members. He enlisted in Company B, 5th Arkansas Regiment, under Gen. E. Kirby Smith, Trans-Mississippi Department, C. S. A. "Comrade Pulley was born in 1843, and his parents' removed to Arkansas when he was very young. He was a member of the Baptist Church and active in all of its work, which he loved. He had been twice married, but his wives and children all passed before him. "In the death of this comrade the Camp has lost a faithful member, ever ready to respond to any call of the Camp or his comrades. he is now at rest with those who passed before him to the heavenly shore."
