Scott Watson

Letter From W. A. Scott, North Tazewell, Virginia, For Information On Father's Service Record.

W. A. Scott, of North Tazewell, Va., wishes to ascertain the war record of his father, Samuel Scott, but does not know the command with which he served: had heard him speak of being at "High Bridge," which was near Farmville and Petersburg, Va. Samuel Scott was reared in Prince Edward County, Va., near Worsham, and had a brother, William F. Scott. It is hoped that some comrade will remember his service. Mr. Scott also mentions uncles on his mother's side-A. E., Alexander, and Bruce Watson, sons of Joseph A. Watson, who were in the Confederate army; they lived near Hampden Sidney, Va.
