Mrs. E. K. Turner, Birmingham, Ala. (R. R. No. 7, Box 70), is anxious for information as to how Sherman procured meat for his army during his occupancy of Savannah in December, 1864, and January, 1865. This informationis desired for the purpose of proving a claim against the United States government, and any information on this subject will be appreciated.
