Private L. Weaver, Co. G, 4th Virginia, aged 23; wounded at Gettysburg, July 3, 1863. Admitted into Twelfth Corps Hospital. Shot flesh wound of both legs and face. July 13th, bleeding of eight ounces from the anterior tibial artery, which recurred on the 14th, sixteen ounces of blood being lost. The anterior tibial artery was tied above and below the point of division. The patient was paroled November 12, 1863.
