Died, in Lee County, Va., on the 14th inst., Mr. Daniel Widner, private in Co. I, 27th Batt. Va. Cav. He was a good soldier, lived a quiet life, and died a peaceful and happy death. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn their loss. He bears no more the harsh roar of battle, or the tramp of the invader's foot upon our soil. Sweet be his repose. E. S. Bishop, Capt.
